Job Description - Oracle Solutions Architect and Delivery Oversight
Provide hands on Oracle project delivery as well as strategic pre-sales support for Oracle opportunities across PeopleSoft and Oracle Fusion applications. Perform client facing activities to successfully deliver implementation/upgrade/expansion projects following a standard SDLC methodology and approach. Provide direction and leadership for the solution design from initiation phase through implementation. Support and mentor team resources so they successfully deliver on their client commitments and deliverables. Communicate project statuses and updates to project team and business owners throughout the duration of the project. Ensure all impacted stakeholders understand risks, issues, and activities related to the project. Act as point of contact to track, discuss and resolve issues and escalate as required. Track and review deliverables to ensure that they meet quality standards Work closely with solution groups within our Oracle practice on pre-sales activities for Oracle pursuits Prepare solution and proposal materials for pursuits Present with confidence and clarity in client meetings for both existing clients and new prospects Business professional with minimum 10+ years of experience with ERP implementation projects (e.g., Oracle Cloud, PeopleSoft) Hands on project and/or delivery management experience and SDLC skills demonstrated by experience with full life cycle ERP implementation projects Planned and executed several IT ERP initiatives including modernization projects, automation, upgrade projects, assessments, implementations, and IT transformation Track record of successfully managing complex projects and programs. Comfortable with project execution of aggressive and agile project schedules Experience managing AMS engagements. Experience being a key contributor to requests for proposals (RFP), client presentations, detailing scope of work (SOW) Broad application knowledge of Oracle applications and business experience in multiple business areas within the Oracle pillars of Finance and Procurement, HCM and Payroll, Supply Chain, Campus Solutions. Comfortable communicating with C-level client contacts, managing client teams, in addition to on- and off-site, and off-shore functional and technical teams Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments within a structured implementation methodology Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment Experience managing teams and direct reports Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint) A Bachelor's degree or higher Senior lead experience on complex, international, multi-currency and multi-organization implementations 15+ years of consulting experience which includes contributing to requests for proposals (RFP), client presentations, detailing scope of work (SOW) Experience evaluating client requirements to develop solutions and estimates. Experience managing Oracle Cloud projects in addition to PeopleSoft Previous experience managing direct reports
