Job Title: Senior Software Developer

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our client’s innovative IT team, a leading multinational corporation at the forefront of the insurance technology space. In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, testing, and deploying robust, scalable software solutions using modern technologies. You will be responsible for building high -performance APIs, optimizing database operations, and ensuring seamless application deployment across cloud environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in C# with .NET 8, API development, and SQL Server, along with a strong grasp of architectural patterns. Your ability to prioritize business impact, adapt quickly to emerging technologies, and collaborate across teams will be essential in driving digital transformation and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and document complex applications and scripts using C# and .NET 8
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with backend systems
Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity using SQL Server and Oracle
Implement and manage application deployment pipelines in Azure Cloud
Collaborate with architects, developers, and cross -functional IT teams to deliver scalable solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a focus on root cause analysis and long -term fixes
Contribute to technical documentation, system architecture, and knowledge sharing initiatives
Stay current with emerging technologies and apply best practices in software development

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software development with a focus on C# and .NET 8
Proven experience in API development, microservices architecture, and cloud -based deployment
Strong proficiency in SQL Server and Oracle databases, including query optimization and schema design
Hands -on experience with Azure Cloud services, Kubernetes, and containerized environments
Familiarity with PL/pgSQL and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python)
Understanding of Linux operating systems and DevOps practices
Excellent problem -solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast -paced, collaborative environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

RESTful API development
Linux, Bash scripting

Nice to Have:

Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra)
