Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical evaluations of patients presenting with musculoskeletal injuries or disorders.
  
• Assist in the diagnosis of conditions such as fractures, dislocations, joint degeneration, and soft tissue injuries using clinical judgment and diagnostic tools.
  
• Interpret radiological imaging (X -rays, CT scans, MRIs) to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
  
• Participate in surgical procedures under supervision, including fracture fixation, joint aspiration, and minimally invasive techniques.
  
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including medical histories, examination findings, and treatment plans.
  
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive rehabilitation strategies.
  
• Stay updated with current orthopaedic guidelines, best practices, and emerging surgical techniques.
  
• Assist in pre -operative and post -operative patient care, including monitoring recovery and managing complications.
  
• Contribute to case discussions, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives within the department.
  

Requirements

• MBBS degree with a strong academic record and completion of internship.
  
• Solid understanding of human anatomy, particularly the musculoskeletal system (bones, joints, ligaments, muscles).
  
• Proficiency in clinical diagnosis of orthopaedic conditions, including trauma and degenerative diseases.
  
• Familiarity with basic surgical techniques and instrumentation used in orthopaedic procedures.
  
• Ability to interpret X -rays, CT scans, and MRI reports with accuracy and clinical relevance.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration.
  
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in orthopaedic medicine.
  
• Willingness to work in a fast -paced clinical environment with rotating shifts and on -call duties.
  
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and digital documentation tools.
