ID:\n\nJR95284 Package Health Engineer\n\nOur vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.\n\nMicron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.\n\nKey Responsibilities \n\n * Develop and implement DFT strategies for advanced packaging. \n\n\n * Conduct simulations for mechanical, thermal, and electrical performance. \n\n\n * Perform electrical and mechanical characterization of packages. \n\n\n * Analyze test and field data to identify early indicators of package degradation. \n\n\n * Collaborate with data scientists to build predictive models for package health. \n\n\n * Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for reliability issues. \n\n\n\n \nQualifications \n\n * Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field. \n\n\n * 2+ years of experience in semiconductor industry (complex products preferred), preferably in packaging, test, or reliability engineering. \n\n\n * Hands-on experience with simulation tools and test equipment, working on package characterization, reliability testing or electrical failure analysis. \n\n\n * Proficiency in statistics, data analysis and scripting (e.g., Python, MATLAB, JMP). \n\n\n * Strong understanding of semiconductor packaging process, material interaction and properties. \n\n\n * Good knowledge of DRAM or ASIC product testing, test architecture, and packaging fail modes. \n\n\n\n \nAdditional/Preferred Qualifications \n\n * Experience with AI/ML tools or statistical modeling. \n\n\n * Familiarity with JEDEC or other reliability standards. \n\n\n * Strong problem-solving and documentation skills\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nSemiconductor Design Engineer 3\n\nRelocation level: (TBD)\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
