Palantir Engineer

Primary Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python and React


• 2+ years of direct experience working with Palantir Foundry


• Proven experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs), including prompt engineering or fine-tuning


• Background in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Science, Software Development, or Software Architecture


• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams


• Demonstrated coding proficiency in Python, Java, C++, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar languages


• Excellent understanding of software engineering best practices and lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Palantir Foundry and AIP (Artificial Intelligence Platform)


• Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and LLM tuning techniques


• Experience integrating systems via APIs, GraphQL, or other protocols


• Practical experience using the Ontology SDK within Foundry


• Strong foundation in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science


• Prior consulting experience or experience working in client-facing roles


• Strong front-end development experience using React
