Passive Network Engineer

Salary range: Rs 500000 - Rs 1200000 (ie INR 5 - 12 LPA)

We are looking for a skilled Passive Network Engineer to handle passive networking infrastructure, execute end-to-end projects, and represent in client-facing meetings and technical discussions.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute passive networking infrastructure projects (structured cabling, fiber optics, patch panels, racks & enclosures)
• Carry out site surveys and prepare passive network layouts and BOQs
• Oversee installation of Cat6/Cat6A/fiber cabling, terminations, and testing
• Coordinate and manage end-to-end project execution — timelines, vendors, and on-site teams
• Attend client meetings and handle technical discussions related to passive infrastructure
• Prepare and present project proposals, progress reports, and handover documentation

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in passive networking and infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems — copper (Cat6/6A) and fiber (OM3/OM4/OS2)
• Hands-on experience with cable testing tools (Fluke, JDSU or equivalent)
• Proven ability to manage projects and coordinate with clients and vendors
• Good communication and presentation skills for client-facing interactions
• Familiarity with standards: TIA-568, ISO/IEC 11801, BICSI guidelines
