Key Responsibilities:

Prepare pastries, cakes, desserts, and baked products as per quality standards.
Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards in the bakery section.
Manage kitchen inventory, raw materials, and ingredients.
Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.
Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth daily operations.
Decorate cakes and desserts with attractive finishing.
Monitor baking processes and avoid wastage.
Support timely preparation of bakery items for customer demand.

Required Skills:

Pastry Preparation — ability to prepare pastries, desserts, and bakery items.
Baking Techniques — knowledge of baking temperatures, mixing, proofing, and finishing.
Cake Decoration — skill in presentation, frosting, and decorative finishing.
Kitchen Hygiene — ability to follow food safety and cleanliness standards.
Time Management — ability to manage preparation schedules during busy hours.

Work Experience Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in pastry or bakery operations. Candidates should have hands -on experience preparing cakes, pastries, desserts, and baked products in a professional kitchen or bakery environment.

Education:

Minimum: Diploma or Certification in Bakery & Confectionery preferred

Preferred: Certification in Bakery / Pastry Arts

Additional: Food safety or hygiene certification
