Job Description - Payroll Administrator

We are looking for a detail -oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to manage end -to -end payroll operations, ensure accurate salary processing, maintain employee records, and support payroll compliance activities. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of payroll processes, statutory compliance, and HR operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage monthly payroll processing and ensure timely salary disbursement.
  • Maintain accurate employee payroll data, attendance, leave records, and salary components.
  • Handle payroll inputs including new joiners, exits, salary revisions, deductions, and reimbursements.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including PF, ESI, PT, TDS, and other payroll -related regulations.
  • Prepare payroll reports, salary statements, and MIS reports.
  • Coordinate with finance and HR teams for payroll -related activities.
  • Resolve employee payroll queries and ensure smooth employee experience.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure data confidentiality.
  • Support audits and payroll compliance checks.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, HR, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in payroll administration or HR operations.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processing and statutory compliance.
  • Hands -on experience with payroll software/HRMS tools.
  • Knowledge of Indian payroll laws including PF, ESI, PT, and TDS.
  • Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, reporting).
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential employee information.
