Job Summary: In this position, your primary task will be to provide expert tax guidance on Global Equity programs, assisting with the review, implementation and maintenance of such programmes and assisting clients with ensuring corporate compliance, including implementing cutting-edge global equity tax technology solutions. You will cover not only the domestic aspects of reward but also the cross-border implications. \- Advising programme leaders regarding mobility long term incentive (LTI) policy development and implementation, process design and documentation, and payroll compliance \- Partner o develop and refine processes that effectively tackle global tax compliance challenges associated with equity compensation plans and other long term incentive compensation (such as bonuses). \- Direct global tax compliance strategies and solutions for employer reporting and withholding on incentive compensation, particularly for internationally mobile individuals \- Ensure comprehensive tax due diligence and technical updates, accurate cross-border LTI calculations across all jurisdictions, and leveraging use of technology for such work; \- Design and implement variable compensation and benefits programmes; \- Continuously update your knowledge on relevant regulations to ensure compliance of equity compensation programs with legal and tax requirements. \- Educate clients and their employees about the long-term incentive programs, helping to provide the value/benefit of such income, understanding how the plans work and the associated tax implications. \- Critically review and enhance internal tax compliance processes, leading the adoption of tax technology solutions to address global employment tax compliance issues. \- Provide expert guidance to clients on international aspects of equity-based compensation plans, covering payroll tax reporting, withholding, corporate tax deductions, exchange controls, M&A implications, and regulatory and legal compliance. \- Support companies in developing, implementing, modifying, and managing their global equity programs. \- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in LTI compensation, primarily Global Equity plans, advising clients on strategies to remain competitive in talent acquisition and retention. \- Work on the employment tax aspects of LTI including but not limited to payroll implementations, review and maintenance of payroll earncodes, annual equity filing compliance, payroll audits, payroll health checks for LTI, payroll reporting and withholding obligations for various LTI \- Collaborate across various service lines to promote internal efficiencies and streamline processes, such as in tax return preparation.
