Payroll Specialist

We're passionate about empowering businesses through innovation, and we're looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to support our dynamic Finance team. This role is essential in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while optimizing system integration across Workday, ADP, and NetSuite.

The Role:

The Payroll Analyst will be responsible for executing and improving payroll processes, ensuring compliance with local regulations in India and supporting the broader payroll administration team based in the United States, including cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Workday, ADP, and NetSuite, and will be adept at managing high volumes of payroll data with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.

• Assist with processing multi-state bi-weekly and monthly payrolls using ADP SmartCompliance and Workday (US & CAD) and international payroll processing in Deel.
• Ensure payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely, including salaries, bonuses, commissions, equity, and deductions.
• Maintain and reconcile payroll data within Workday and Deel ensure seamless integration with NetSuite for financial reporting.
• Audit payroll reports and resolve discrepancies in employee compensation, benefits, and taxes.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure data integrity across systems and support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist Payroll manager monitor compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and internal policies across multiple states or countries.
• Support audits by preparing and providing payroll-related documentation to internal and external auditors.
• Recommend and implement process improvements for payroll accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

• Must have Bachelors’ degree with preference to master’s degree in accounting finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of payroll experience with 7+ years of overall, preferably in a SaaS or tech environment.
• Proficiency with Workday, ADP SmartCompliance and Deel is preferred.
• Familiarity with global payroll processes
• Experience with equity compensation and related payroll tax implications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.) and familiarity with data integrations between systems.
