*Responsibilities:*
- Conduct thorough physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic evaluations for pediatric patients across all age groups (neonates to adolescents).
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions including respiratory infections, gastrointestinal disorders, developmental delays, and chronic illnesses such as asthma, diabetes, and congenital disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, including pharmacological and non -pharmacological interventions, and monitor patient progress through follow -up visits.
- Provide preventive care services including immunizations, growth and development screenings, nutritional counseling, and health education for parents and caregivers.
- Manage inpatient and outpatient cases, including admission, discharge, and coordination of care within the hospital setting.
- Respond promptly to emergency pediatric cases in the emergency department, providing life -saving interventions and stabilizing critical patients.
- Assist in pediatric surgical procedures and medical interventions under the supervision of senior surgeons and specialists.
- Maintain accurate, up -to -date medical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, pediatric specialists, psychologists, nutritionists, and social workers to ensure holistic patient care.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and hospital -wide health programs.
- Stay current with advancements in pediatric medicine through continuous professional development, research, and medical literature review.

*Requirements:*
- MBBS degree with a postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics (MD/DM in Pediatrics or equivalent recognized by the National Medical Commission).
- Valid and active registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent state medical council).
- Minimum of 4–5 years of hands -on clinical experience in a hospital or pediatric specialty setting.
- Proven experience in managing inpatient and outpatient pediatric cases, including emergency and critical care.
- Demonstrated proficiency in pediatric diagnostics, treatment protocols, and preventive healthcare strategies.
- Strong understanding of pediatric pharmacology, growth and development milestones, and developmental screening tools.
- Experience in assisting in pediatric surgeries and medical procedures (e.g., lumbar punctures, intubations, central line placements).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with children and families.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast -paced, high -stakes environments.
- Commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and continuous learning.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and digital health tools.
