### *Responsibilities*
- Conduct thorough physical examinations, diagnose illnesses, and develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients from newborns to adolescents.
- Provide expert medical care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), managing high -risk neonates, including preterm infants and those with congenital conditions.
- Lead and support patient management in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), overseeing critical care interventions and coordinating with specialists during emergencies.
- Deliver high -quality outpatient (OPD) consultations, including routine check -ups, immunizations, developmental screenings, and chronic disease management.
- Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, multidisciplinary care.
- Maintain accurate, up -to -date medical records and ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory standards, and documentation protocols.
- Participate in hospital -wide quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and continuing medical education programs.
- Mentor junior medical staff and medical students during rotations and clinical training sessions.

### *Requirements*
- MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics (MD/DM in Pediatrics or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years of post -graduate clinical experience in pediatric care, with hands -on exposure to NICU and PICU settings.
- Proven experience in outpatient (OPD) pediatric practice, including management of common childhood illnesses, growth and development monitoring, and preventive care.
- Strong proficiency in neonatal and pediatric resuscitation protocols, including NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
- Demonstrated ability to manage critical pediatric cases with comorbidities, including respiratory distress, sepsis, congenital anomalies, and metabolic disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with children and their families.
- Strong analytical and decision -making abilities under pressure, particularly in emergency and critical care scenarios.
- Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) and relevant state medical council.
- Willingness to work in a fast -paced hospital environment with rotating shifts, on -call duties, and emergency response responsibilities.
