Job Summary

Roles & Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Relations:

Identify stakeholders (customers, teams, partners, regulators) and develop a communication strategy to ensure ongoing engagement throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain regular reporting with customer stakeholders, provide necessary training, and address conflicts or disagreements to maintain project harmony. Build strong relationships, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical objectives. Handle change requests and manage stakeholder expectations to ensure project success.

Development & Code Quality:

Develop and review code, write unit tests, and participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex production issues. Optimize code for performance, refactor systems, and ensure technical documentation is maintained. Collaborate with teams and mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews.

Continuous Improvement Culture:

Foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing processes, implementing best practices, and encouraging innovation. Align delivery activities with strategic organizational goals and contribute to business success. Design and implement medium-sized features independently and start contributing to more complex system components. Delegate effectively to ensure quality deliverables when the team is available.

Training & Skill Development:

Partner with Learning & Development (L&D) to create structured training programs and certifications that enhance technical expertise. Lead, mentor, and provide guidance on technical expertise, methodologies, and best practices. Drive skill development through structured learning paths, and manage talent acquisition to build a robust technical team.

Asset & Knowledge Development:

Strengthen technical and product expertise by developing comprehensive playbooks, assets, and knowledge repositories. Recognize and reward achievements to foster a positive workplace culture. Set performance goals, conduct reviews, and provide constructive feedback. Create a feedback culture, encourage open communication, and implement improvements based on employee input.

On-Job Training & Mentorship:

Lead and mentor junior associates, clarifying technical requirements and offering guidance on best practices. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities. Participate in creating training assets and functional repositories, and stay updated on emerging tools, technologies, and best practices.

Agile & Collaboration:

Coach teams on Agile practices, collaborate cross-functionally to design and ship new features, and support continuous improvement. Foster a collaborative and supportive environment for team development.

Development Methodologies & Technical Expertise:

Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and the SDLC. Strong expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, and experience with backend frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Springboot, Django). Write clean, scalable, and efficient code, document solutions, and create knowledge base articles.

Version Control & Build Tools:

Proficiency in IDEs (e.g., Visual Studio, Eclipse, VS Code, IntelliJ) and build tools (Maven, Gradle). Experienced in version control using Git, GitHub, and GitLab.

Database Management & Web Development:

Experience in SQL and NoSQL databases. Skilled in web development using HTML/CSS, Angular, React, Vue.js, and backend frameworks. Expertise in API development and integration (RESTful APIs, SOAP, GraphQL).

Testing & CI/CD Processes:

Experience with JUnit, PyTest, Selenium for unit testing and automated testing. Proficiency in CI/CD processes and integration. Knowledge of testing tools and frameworks to ensure delivery excellence.
