PeopleSoft Finance Technical Developer / Consultant

​​​ Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced PeopleSoft Finance Technical Developer / Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in PeopleSoft FSCM and PeopleTools. The candidate will design, develop, enhance, integrate, troubleshoot, and support PeopleSoft Finance applications while partnering with functional, business, database, infrastructure, and integration teams.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Design, develop, customize, test, deploy, and support PeopleSoft Finance / FSCM applications.

  
  


• 
  

  Develop and maintain solutions using PeopleCode, Application Engine, Application Designer, Component Interfaces, Integration Broker, Application Packages, File Layouts, SQR, PS Query, and Process Scheduler.

  
  


• 
  

  Build and support integrations using Integration Broker, REST/SOAP services, Component Interfaces, and file-based patterns.

  
  


• 
  

  Develop and troubleshoot batch processes, reports, interfaces, conversions, workflows, and customizations.

  
  


• 
  

  Write and optimize Oracle SQL and PL/SQL for development, data analysis, troubleshooting, and performance improvement.

  
  


• 
  

  Analyze production incidents, determine root causes, implement permanent fixes, and maintain documentation.

  
  


• 
  

  Support PUM updates, patches, upgrades, retrofits, code migrations, and release deployments.

  
  


• 
  

  Perform impact analysis and translate functional requirements into technical designs.

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare technical designs, unit-test evidence, deployment plans, migration instructions, and support documentation.

  
  


• 
  

  Participate in code reviews and comply with security, performance, and change-management standards.

  
  

Required Technical Skills

• 
  

  Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft FSCM / Finance and PeopleTools.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong development experience in PeopleCode, Application Engine, Application Designer, and Application Packages.

  
  


• 
  

  Integration Broker, Component Interfaces, REST/SOAP services, File Layouts, and third-party integrations.

  
  


• 
  

  SQR, PS Query, Process Scheduler, batch processing, and interface troubleshooting.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development and performance-tuning skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with debugging, trace analysis, production support, incident resolution, and code migration.

  PUM maintenance, upgrades, retrofits, compare reports, and selective adoption.

  
  


• 
  

  PeopleSoft security, roles, permission lists, row-level security, and audit controls.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to collaborate with Finance functional SMEs and business users.

  
  


• 
  

  ITIL-aligned production support and ServiceNow experience.

  
  

Education and Experience

• 
  

  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance Systems, or a related discipline.

  
  


• 
  

  Preferably 5–8+ years of PeopleSoft technical experience with substantial PeopleSoft Finance / FSCM delivery or production-support exposure.
