Job Description - Performance Marketing Executive

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 500000 - Rs 800000 (ie INR 5 - 8 LPA)

Min Experience: 3 years

Location: Bangalore

JobType: full-time

We are looking for a driven Performance Marketing Executive who can execute at speed while developing a strong strategic lens. In this role, you will work closely with senior performance leaders and cross-functional teams including creative, content, and strategy to deliver high-impact paid campaigns and scalable performance learnings.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Execution

  • Manage day-to-day execution of paid campaigns across Meta, Google, LinkedIn, and other performance platforms.
  • Set up ad accounts, campaigns, ad sets, audiences, budgets, and bidding strategies.
  • Ensure quality control across creatives, tracking setups, and landing page journeys.
  • Monitor performance closely and optimize pacing to meet targets.

Testing & Optimization

  • Run structured experiments across creatives, copy, audiences, and bidding approaches.
  • Analyze campaign data to identify performance drivers and improvement opportunities.
  • Document insights and build repeatable playbooks that can scale across multiple campaigns or clients.

Reporting & Insights

  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports that clearly communicate insights, outcomes, and next steps.
  • Proactively identify risks, underperformance, or anomalies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Translate complex performance data into clear, actionable narratives for stakeholders.

Collaboration & Enablement

  • Brief creative and content teams with clear, insight-led directions to improve ad effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to automate reporting and streamline performance workflows.
  • Support pitches, case studies, and capability decks with performance insights and results.

Experience & Skills

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in performance marketing (agency experience preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
  • Experience managing monthly ad budgets of ₹5L+, optimizing across multiple funnel stages.
  • Solid understanding of how creative, copy, and audiences influence performance outcomes.

  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments with changing priorities.
  • Curious, analytical, and eager to understand the “why” behind performance results.
  • Clear and confident communicator who can simplify data into meaningful insights.
  • Tech-savvy and adaptable, with the ability to quickly learn new tools and automation workflows.
