Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Performance Optimization Engineer to join our team. In this
role, you will be responsible for benchmarking, analyzing, and optimizing the
performance of our server systems and software applications. The ideal candidate will
have a strong background in computer science or engineering, with hands -on
experience in performance testing, benchmarking, and system level optimizations.
Responsibilities

Compile and run industry -standard server benchmarks such as SPEC CPU, SPEC,
Linpack, Stream, LMBench, MLPerf, HPL, DGEMM, and Phoronix Test Suite to measure
system performance
·
Develop and execute custom benchmarks and performance tests using Python,
BASH, and other scripting languages
·
Analyze benchmark results, identify performance bottlenecks, and recommend
optimizations
·
Collaborate with development teams to implement performance improvements in
C, C++, Java applications
·
Configure, test, and benchmark server systems and clusters, including OS
installation, kernel compilation, network setup, and storage configuration
·
Debug and troubleshoot performance issues in PC, workstation, and server
solutions
·
Document performance testing methodologies, results, and recommendations
·
Stay up -to -date with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques in
performance engineering.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related
engineering discipline
·
Minimum of 3 years of experience in performance analysis and optimization or a
related field
·
Strong programming skills in Python and BASH, with proficiency in using git for
version control
·
Cross -Platform Profiling: Poses expert -level proficiency with industry -standard
profiling tools native to Windows (eg. VTune Profiler, Windows Performance Analyzer,
Xperf) and macOS (eg. Instruments (Activity Monitor).
A
Good working knowledge of C, C++. Familiarity with Java is a plus.
Expertise in Linux operating systems; experience with Windows is a plus
Experience with Linux and Windows programming
Experience with Parallel Programming/HPC - OpenMP, MPI, CUDA is a plus
Strong problem -solving and critical thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Prior experience with system configuration, testing, and benchmarking is ideal
Familiarity with benchmark development is a plus
