Job Description

Role: Performance Test Engineer
Experience: 3+ Years of experience 
Location: Hyderabad

Summary 

We are seeking a Performance Test Engineer to develop, execute, and optimize automated performance testing for the projects across different platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in LoadRunner/JMeter, and performance analysis tools to ensure our systems operate at peak efficiency. Ideal candidate must be able to articulate and report findings effectively so that the system can be continuously improved.
 

Responsibilities

• Develop Automated Performance Test Scripts. 

• Create and maintain performance test scripts using LoadRunner, and other relevant tools. 

• Simulate real-world user behavior and analyze system response times under varying loads. 

• Execution & Monitoring. 

• Execute performance, load, stress, and scalability tests. 

• Use tools to monitor infrastructure, database, and application performance. 

• Identify system bottlenecks and analyze key metrics like TPS, Hits/sec, CPU utilization, and memory leaks. 

• Analysis & Reporting. 

• Provide detailed performance analysis reports and present findings to performance test lead. 

• Assist in developing scalable automation solutions for ongoing performance testing needs.  

Skills 

• 3+ years of experience in performance engineering and automated testing. 

• Strong experience in LoadRunner (Controller, VuGen, Performance Center), and API performance testing. 

• Expertise in monitoring tools like Dynatrace, SiteScope, or equivalent. 

• Hands-on experience in database performance tuning. 

• Knowledge of Web, Citrix, Click & Script, SOAP, RTE, and SAPGUI protocols for performance testing. 

• Experience in Git, Azure DevOps, or equivalent for version control and CI/CD pipelines. 

• Ability to articulate technical findings and collaborate across teams.  

Must Have: 

• Load Runner/JMeter hands on experience. 

• Prior experience working within a large organization with multiple releases in a year. 

Nice to Have: 

• Selenium exposure. 

Education / Professional Experience/ Qualifications 

• 3+ years of experience in Performance Testing. 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
