Performance Tester

Job Summary

We are seeking skilled Performance Test Engineers with 2–5 years of experience in end -to -end performance testing of web applications. The ideal candidates will have strong expertise in performance testing tools such as LoadRunner and Apache JMeter, along with hands -on experience in scripting, test execution, analysis, and performance optimization. The role involves designing complex performance test scenarios, executing tests, analyzing system behavior under load, and collaborating with development teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute end -to -end performance testing for web applications.
  

• Create and maintain performance test scripts using:
  

  • LoadRunner (Web HTTP/HTML and TruClient protocols)
    

  • Apache JMeter
    

• Develop and maintain complex performance testing scenarios including load models and user distributions.
  

• Perform load, stress, endurance, scalability, and failover testing.
  

• Execute performance test runs and monitor system performance metrics.
  

• Analyze performance test results to identify system bottlenecks and provide actionable recommendations.
  

• Implement parameterization, correlation, and dynamic data handling in test scripts.
  

• Collaborate with development teams to diagnose performance issues and optimize application performance.
  

• Prepare detailed performance test reports, including analysis and recommendations.
  

• Support performance tuning efforts by identifying root causes of performance degradation.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in performance testing of web applications.
  

• Strong hands -on experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner and Apache JMeter.
  

• Expert -level experience in scripting using:
  

  • Web HTTP/HTML protocol
    

  • TruClient protocol
    

  • JMeter test plans
    

• Strong understanding of HTTP and HTTPS protocols.
  

• Experience in script development, execution, monitoring, and performance analysis.
  

• Strong experience in Java and Node.js development to support performance scripting and integrations.
  

• Experience in performance test scenario design for large -scale web applications.
  

• Proficiency in correlation, parameterization, and dynamic data handling techniques.
  

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for performance issue identification.
  

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating performance tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  

• Familiarity with monitoring and analysis tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or Grafana.
  

• Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
  

• Exposure to cloud -based performance testing environments.
