Performance Testing

Job Title: Performance Tester (JMeter & NeoLoad)

Experience: 4-6 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using Apache JMeter and NeoLoad.
  
• Perform Load, Stress, Endurance, Spike, and Scalability Testing for web, mobile, and API applications.
  
• Analyze performance test results and identify system bottlenecks.
  
• Monitor application, server, database, and network metrics during test execution.
  
• Work closely with Development, QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues.
  
• Prepare detailed performance test reports with findings and recommendations.
  
• Integrate performance testing activities into CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Estimate performance testing effort and provide test planning inputs.
  

Required Skills

• 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Performance Testing.
  
• Strong expertise in Apache JMeter and NeoLoad.
  
• Experience in API Performance Testing (REST/SOAP).
  
• Knowledge of workload modeling, test scenario design, and performance engineering concepts.
  
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, Grafana, Splunk, or Prometheus.
  
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database performance analysis.
  
• Understanding of web technologies, application architecture, and cloud environments.
  
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
  
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Java, Groovy, Python, or Shell scripting.
  
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  
• Relevant performance testing certifications are an added advantage.
