Job Summary

We are seeking a detail -oriented Prep Artist to support the VFX pipeline by preparing footage for compositing. The role involves tasks such as rotoscoping, paint, clean -up, and plate preparation to ensure high -quality visual outputs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform rotoscoping to create accurate mattes for compositing
  
• Execute paint and clean -up work including wire removal, rig removal, and dust/scratch fixes
  
• Prepare plates by removing unwanted elements and ensuring seamless backgrounds
  
• Work closely with compositors to deliver production -ready elements
  
• Follow shot briefs and creative direction provided by supervisors
  
• Maintain consistency and quality across assigned shots
  
• Meet production deadlines while adhering to pipeline standards
  
• Organize and manage files as per studio workflow
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Basic understanding of VFX pipeline and compositing workflow
  
• Proficiency in tools like Nuke, Silhouette, Mocha, or Photoshop
  
• Strong attention to detail and patience for frame -by -frame work
  
• Good understanding of motion, edges, and matte quality
  
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
