Udaya Public School is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic PGT Chemistry to join our Senior Secondary faculty. The ideal candidate should have strong subject expertise in Chemistry, excellent communication and classroom management skills, and a passion for delivering engaging, concept-based learning. Key Responsibilities
Teach Chemistry to Classes XI–XII in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
Prepare and deliver engaging, well-structured lesson plans using innovative teaching methodologies.
Conduct practical laboratory sessions while ensuring adherence to laboratory safety standards.
Assess student performance through assignments, tests, practicals, and examinations, and provide constructive feedback.
Encourage scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills among students.
Maintain academic records and ensure timely completion of the syllabus.
Integrate technology and modern teaching practices into classroom instruction.
Create a positive, disciplined, and inclusive learning environment.
Participate in examinations, faculty meetings, school events, and professional development programs.
Requirements
Master's Degree in Chemistry (M.Sc. Chemistry) from a recognised university.
B.Ed. qualification is mandatory.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a PGT in a CBSE or reputed school (Freshers with exceptional academics may also apply).
Strong command of the CBSE curriculum and Senior Secondary Chemistry syllabus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in conducting Chemistry practicals and managing laboratory activities.
Proficiency in digital teaching tools.
Strong classroom management, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Passion for teaching, mentoring, and preparing students for board examinations.
