Role & Responsibilities

Academic & Curriculum

• Teach CBSE Mathematics for Grades 11 & 12.
  
• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
  
• Build strong conceptual, analytical, and application-based understanding of Mathematics.
  
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, question banks, assignments, and study materials.
  

Board & Competitive Exam Preparation

• Prepare students for CBSE Board examinations.
  
• Conduct regular tests, revisions, and doubt-clearing sessions.
  
• Teach Mathematics for competitive examinations such as IIT-JEE as required.
  
• Train students through advanced problems, PYQs, mock tests, and application-based questions.
  
• Develop effective problem-solving techniques, exam strategies, and answer-writing skills.
  

Assessment & Student Support

• Conduct and evaluate periodic tests, pre-boards, and mock examinations.
  
• Analyse student performance and identify learning gaps.
  
• Provide remedial and enrichment support based on individual student needs.
  
• Mentor students on academic performance, examination preparation, and competitive examinations.
  
• Encourage logical reasoning, critical thinking, and independent problem-solving skills.
  

CBSE Evaluation & Professional Responsibilities

• Apply experience as a CBSE Board Examiner/Evaluator, where applicable.
  
• Follow CBSE marking schemes and assessment standards.
  
• Participate in moderation, academic planning, and curriculum development.
  
• Collaborate with the Mathematics Department and participate actively in school activities.
  
• Maintain academic records, lesson plans, assessment documentation, and student performance data.
  

Requirements

Preferred Candidate Profile

• M.Sc. in Mathematics or a relevant postgraduate degree from a recognised university.
  
• B.Ed. preferred/required as per applicable norms.
  
• 5–10+ years of experience teaching CBSE Mathematics for Grades 11 & 12.
  
• Prior CBSE Board Examiner/Evaluator experience is highly preferred.
  
• Experience teaching Mathematics for IIT-JEE and/or other competitive examinations will be an advantage.
  
• Strong command of Algebra, Calculus, Coordinate Geometry, Trigonometry, Probability, Statistics, and other relevant areas of Mathematics.
  
• Good understanding of the CBSE syllabus, examination patterns, and assessment requirements.
  
• Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  
• Ability to work effectively with both high-performing and academically challenged students.
  
• Experience in reputed CBSE schools or coaching/integrated programmes will be an advantage.
