Job Description - PGT Maths

Udaya Public School is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic PGT Mathematics to join our Senior Secondary faculty. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of Mathematics, excellent communication and classroom management skills, and a passion for delivering engaging, concept-based learning. The role involves inspiring students to develop critical thinking, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills while fostering a positive and academically enriching classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Mathematics to Classes XI–XII in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
Prepare and deliver engaging, well-structured lesson plans.
Conduct assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide timely feedback.
Develop students' logical reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Maintain academic records and ensure timely completion of the syllabus.
Create a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment.
Participate in examinations, school events, faculty meetings, and professional development programs.

Requirements

Master's Degree in Mathematics from a recognised university.

B.Ed. qualification is mandatory.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a PGT in a CBSE or reputed school (Freshers with exceptional academics may also apply).

Strong command of the CBSE curriculum and Senior Secondary Mathematics syllabus.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts using innovative teaching methodologies.

Proficiency in digital teaching tools.

Strong classroom management, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

Passion for teaching, mentoring, and preparing students for board and competitive examinations.
