Job Description - PGT Social Science

We are looking for a passionate and experienced PGT Social Science Teacher to join our academic team. The candidate will be responsible for teaching senior secondary students, preparing lesson plans, conducting assessments, and fostering analytical and critical thinking skills among students.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Social Science subjects to senior secondary classes as per curriculum guidelines
Prepare engaging lesson plans and classroom activities
Conduct regular assessments, assignments, and examinations
Maintain student performance records and provide feedback to parents
Encourage classroom participation and interactive learning
Support co -curricular and school academic activities
Stay updated with current educational practices and subject knowledge

Requirements

Master’s degree in Social Science / History / Political Science / Geography / Sociology or related field

B.Ed. qualification is mandatory

Minimum 2 years of teaching experience preferred

Strong communication and classroom management skills

Proficiency in English and digital teaching tools

Ability to motivate and mentor students

Experience with CBSE/ICSE/State Board curriculum preferred
