Job Description - Pharmacist

Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and legality.

Dispense medications and provide clear instructions on their proper use.

Counsel patients on medication dosage, side effects, interactions, and storage.

Monitor patient medication therapy and identify potential drug-related problems.

Maintain accurate patient medication records.

Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, storing, and monitoring medication stock.

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and pharmacy policies.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.

Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff where applicable.

Participate in health promotion activities such as immunization programs and medication awareness campaigns.
