Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and detail -oriented PHE Engineer to join our MEP design
team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and reviewing public health systems
including water supply, drainage, sewerage, and rainwater harvesting systems for a wide range of
building and infrastructure projects. Experience with BIM and proficiency in Revit MEP will be an
added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design water supply, drainage, sewerage, STP/ETP, and rainwater harvesting
systems as per project and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare PHE layouts, schematics, and detailed drawings using AutoCAD and
Revit MEP.
• Perform hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, and pump head calculations.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, electrical, and HVAC teams to ensure
seamless integration.
• Ensure compliance with IS codes, NBC, CPHEEO, and international standards
(as applicable).
• Participate in design reviews, value engineering, and technical discussions with
consultants and clients.
• Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, and project documentation.
• Assist in BIM coordination and clash resolution for PHE services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–10 years of experience in PHE system design for residential, commercial,
healthcare, or industrial projects.
• Good understanding of plumbing codes, standards, and design practices.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory; knowledge of Revit MEP is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with software tools like WaterCAD, EPANET, or similar is a plus.
• Strong coordination, communication, and project management skills.
Preferred Skills (Optional):
• Experience in green building design (LEED, IGBC) related to water efficiency.
• Exposure to international projects and plumbing design codes (e.g., IPC, UPC, BS).
