Job Description - PHP (Laravel) Developer

We are seeking a skilled PHP Laravel Developer with working knowledge of WordPress development to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Core PHP and the Laravel framework, along with experience in developing and customizing WordPress websites.

This role involves building scalable web applications using Laravel and handling WordPress -based projects, including theme customization, plugin development, and backend enhancements. The candidate should be capable of managing backend architecture, database structures, and API integrations efficiently.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and Laravel
Build and customize WordPress themes and plugins
Write clean, scalable, and secure PHP code
Design and manage MySQL databases and optimize queries
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third -party services
Customize WordPress backend functionalities as per project requirements
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues
Implement website/application security best practices
Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and project teams
Maintain proper documentation and version control using Git

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
1–2years of experience in PHP development
Strong hands -on experience with Laravel framework
Good knowledge of WordPress theme and plugin development
Proficiency in Core PHP and Object -Oriented Programming (OOP)
Experience with MySQL database design and optimization
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Familiarity with REST APIs and third -party integrations
Experience with Git version control
Understanding of MVC architecture
Strong problem -solving and debugging skills
