Job Description - Pipe Fitters




Key Responsibilities



  • Install, assemble, and repair pipes, fittings, valves, pumps, and related equipment. 

  • Interpret P&ID drawings, isometric drawings, and MEP layout drawings. 

  • Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, and fit pipes using appropriate tools and equipment. 

  • Conduct pressure testing, flushing, and leak testing of piping systems. 

  • Support commissioning and testing activities. 

  • Ensure installations comply with project specifications, quality standards & safety regulations. 

  • Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, welders, and other site personnel. 

  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. 

  • Report site issues and material requirements to the supervisor. 







Required Qualifications



  • ITI / Diploma / Trade Certificate in Pipe Fitting or Mechanical Engineering. 

  • Relevant certifications are an added advantage. 

  • 3–8 years of experience in MEP construction projects. 

  • Experience in commercial, industrial, residential, or infrastructure projects. 

  • GCC/UAE experience will be an added advantage.
