Piping Designer (Autocad Plant3D)

• Design and develop piping system layouts using AutoCAD Plant 3D.
  
• Prepare detailed 3D models, isometric drawings, and 2D drawings for construction and installation.
  
• Review project requirements, specifications, and design documents to ensure the proper design and layout of piping systems.
  
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure the piping design meets project objectives.
  
• Perform clash detection and resolve conflicts within the 3D models using Plant 3D.
  
• Generate BOM (Bill of Materials) and maintain accurate records of materials and quantities.
  
• Apply knowledge of piping codes and standards such as ASME, ANSI, and API for design validation.
  
• Ensure the design complies with relevant health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
  
• Assist in the preparation of project schedules and progress reports.
  
• Conduct regular reviews and updates of designs based on project changes or feedback.
  
• Provide support to the fabrication and construction teams during installation.
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D and related tools.
  
• Strong understanding of piping design principles, codes, and standards.
  
• Experience in 3D modeling, piping layouts, and creating isometric drawings.
  
• Proficient in P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) interpretation and design.
  
• Knowledge of clash detection and collision management within Plant 3D.
  
• Ability to create detailed BOMs, piping specifications, and design documents.
  
• Strong understanding of piping materials and equipment (valves, flanges, fittings, etc.).
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
  
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
