Job Description - Placement coordinator

Develop Industry Connections

Build and maintain relationships with companies and recruiters.
Invite organizations to participate in campus recruitment drives.

Organize Campus Placements

Plan and coordinate campus interviews, job fairs, and placement drives.
Schedule recruitment activities and ensure smooth execution.

Guide Students

Provide career counseling and job search guidance.
Help students identify suitable career opportunities.

Conduct Training Programs

Arrange aptitude training, soft skills development, resume writing, and interview preparation sessions.
Organize mock interviews and group discussions.

Maintain Student Records

Keep updated records of student profiles, academic performance, and placement status.
Manage placement databases and documentation.

Communicate with Employers

Share student profiles with recruiters.
Coordinate interview schedules and collect employer feedback.

Monitor Placement Process

Ensure recruitment policies and placement guidelines are followed.
Track placement statistics and prepare reports.

Promote Employability

Identify skill gaps among students.
Collaborate with faculty to improve students' industry readiness.

Handle Internship Programs

Coordinate internship opportunities with companies.
Monitor student progress during internships.

Build the Institution's Reputation

Maintain strong employer relationships to increase placement opportunities.
Represent the institution at industry events and networking programs.
