Job Description – Plant Head

Location: Tukkuguda, Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall plant operations, ensuring smooth manufacturing and timely production.


• Manage Production, PPC, Maintenance, Quality, Stores, Dispatch, and Inventory functions.


• Drive production planning to achieve daily, monthly, and annual targets.


• Improve plant productivity, machine utilization (OEE), and operational efficiency.


• Monitor raw material consumption, wastage, and implement cost reduction initiatives.


• Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery.


• Lead and develop production teams, supervisors, and shop-floor workforce.


• Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives.


• Ensure compliance with quality systems, safety standards, and statutory requirements.


• Coordinate with Purchase, QA, Stores, and Dispatch to ensure smooth plant operations.


• Monitor KPIs related to productivity, rejection, downtime, and inventory.

Required Experience

• 10+ years of experience in Plastic Pipe Manufacturing.


• Hands-on experience in HDPE, MDPE, PVC, or CPVC Pipe Manufacturing.


• Strong exposure to Pipe Extrusion processes.


• Experience in managing complete plant operations.


• Knowledge of Production Planning, Maintenance, Quality, Inventory, and Cost Control.


• Experience with extrusion machine manufacturers such as Kabra, Jwell, Windsor, Theysohn, Beier, Grace, or similar is preferred.


• Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, OEE, and process improvement.
