Plant Manager (Goa) - SE, GT GS – Substation, STATCOM, HVDC

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manufacturing and Assembly Operations:
2. Oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing and assembly setup.
3. Ensure efficient and effective production processes to meet quality and delivery targets.
5. Process Evaluation and Automation:
6. Critically evaluate existing manufacturing processes.
7. Identify and implement opportunities for automation and digitalization to enhance productivity and efficiency.
9. Lean Practices Deployment:
10. Deploy lean manufacturing practices to minimize waste and optimize resources.
11. Continuously improve processes to enhance operational efficiency.
13. Safety and Quality Culture:
14. Lead and inspire employees to establish and maintain a culture of safety and quality.
15. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.
17. Workforce Optimization:
18. Utilize the workforce optimally to achieve production goals.
19. Develop and implement strategies to enhance workforce productivity and engagement.
21. Diversity Development:
22. Develop and sustain a diverse workforce.
23. Promote an inclusive work environment that values diversity and fosters collaboration.
25. Technical Knowledge:
26. Possess a basic understanding of the functioning of STATCOM and HVDC systems.
27. Apply technical knowledge to support manufacturing and assembly operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in engineering.
• At least 10+ years of experience, especially in project/manufacturing background.
• Basic understanding of substations, STATCOM, and HVDC systems is required.
• .
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to implement lean manufacturing practices and process improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve safety and quality standards.
• Experience in evaluating and implementing automation and digitalization solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
