PlanView Implementation Consultant

1. Solution Design and Architecture: Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Planview solutions to meet business and portfolio management needs. Develop scalable architecture and frameworks for integrating Planview with enterprise systems. Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and system designs. 2. Implementation and Configuration: Configure Planview modules, workflows, and user roles to align with organizational processes. Oversee system migration, upgrades, and performance optimization. Manage data integration between Planview and other enterprise tools such as ERP, CRM, and ITSM platforms. 3. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with business stakeholders, PMOs, IT teams, and vendors to ensure Planview aligns with strategic goals. Facilitate workshops and discussions to gather requirements and recommend best practices. Provide guidance to project teams and end users during implementation and post-go-live support. 4. System Optimization and Governance: Drive adoption of Planview best practices, including portfolio management, resource planning, and reporting. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within the Planview environment. Monitor system usage and performance, and propose improvements for scalability and efficiency. 5. Develop and deliver training sessions and documentation for end-users and administrators. Provide Level 3 support for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in portfolio/project management solutions, with at least 3 years in Planview implementation and administration. Expertise in Planview Enterprise One, Planview Portfolios, or Planview PPM Pro. Strong understanding of portfolio and resource management concepts and methodologies. Proven experience with integrations using APIs, middleware, or data platforms. Hands-on experience with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for Planview analytics. Knowledge of ITSM and Agile tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Azure DevOps. Certification in Planview or related PPM solutions is a strong advantage. Familiarity with Lean Portfolio Management and SAFe practices. Knowledge of data governance, security policies, and compliance standards.
