Playwright Automation Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript)
• Automate web application test cases covering both UI and API
• Develop reusable test utilities and implement Page Object Models (POM)
• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps)
• Execute regression, smoke, and cross-browser testing
• Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Managers, and QA teams
• Perform root cause analysis and debug automation failures
• Ensure adequate test coverage and maintain detailed test reports (Allure/HTML reports)
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to automation best practices
• Continuously improve framework performance and scalability

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in Test Automation
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
• Experience in API testing (Playwright API / Postman / Rest Assured)
• Good understanding of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber
• Experience working with Git and CI/CD tools
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
