The ideal candidate combines deep test automation knowledge with hands-on ServiceNow experience and thrives in fast-paced, CI/CD-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation Development

  • Automate end-to-end ServiceNow workflows, including form submissions, approvals, notifications, and integrations.

  • Implement UI, API, and data validation tests to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.

ServiceNow Platform Testing

  • Leverage ServiceNow APIs, tables, and platform features to support comprehensive test automation.

  • Validate ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, CMDB, or custom applications.

  • Support testing of ServiceNow upgrades, enhancements, and customizations.

CI/CD & Test Execution

  • Integrate Playwright automation suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.

  • Enable continuous testing with automated execution on code commits and deployments.

  • Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide rapid feedback to development teams.

Defect Management & Collaboration

  • Execute automated test cases, identify defects, and log issues with clear reproduction steps.

  • Collaborate closely with ServiceNow developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve defects.

  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release readiness activities.

Framework & Documentation

  • Build and maintain scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks.

  • Ensure test code follows best practices, coding standards, and version control guidelines.

  • Document automated test cases, framework architecture, and ServiceNow testing strategies for team reference and onboarding.

Quality & Process Improvement

  • Promote best practices for ServiceNow test automation.

  • Continuously improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and overall QA processes.

  • Contribute ideas to enhance automation maturity and reduce manual testing effort.

Required Skills & Experience
