PLC Engineer (Programmable Logic Controller Engineer)

The role is mainly for PLC/automation maintenance in a manufacturing environment. The person should be able to troubleshoot automation systems, handle machine breakdowns, support commissioning, and reduce downtime.

Mandatory / Must-Have

• PLC programming & troubleshooting — Siemens / Allen-Bradley / Mitsubishi / Omron, as applicable


• Experience/knowledge of PLC maintenance in a manufacturing or automation environment


• Troubleshooting of PLC, HMI, VFD, Servo and SCADA


• HMI configuration


• VFD / Servo drive handling


• Industrial networking knowledge: Profibus / Profinet / Ethernet IP


• Ability to read and modify electrical/control panels


• Troubleshooting of sensors, actuators, encoders, relays and control panels


• Exposure to preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance


• Ability to perform online/offline fault analysis


• Understanding of wiring, earthing and panel safety


• Documentation discipline and knowledge of ISO / IATF 16949


• Strong problem-solving, ability to work under pressure, and team coordination

Preferred, not mandatory

• Experience/knowledge in Automotive / EV / Battery manufacturing plants
