PLC Programmer

Job Description

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring for the position of PLC Programmer in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The role requires a technically capable professional who can support PLC-based industrial automation and control systems. Candidates with strong programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, and automation skills are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain PLC programs for industrial automation applications.
  
• Create and troubleshoot ladder logic and PLC control sequences.
  
• Configure and integrate HMI/SCADA systems with PLC-controlled equipment.
  
• Perform testing, commissioning, and debugging of automation systems.
  
• Diagnose PLC, sensor, actuator, communication, and control-system faults.
  
• Integrate PLCs with drives, instrumentation, and industrial equipment.
  
• Maintain technical documentation, program backups, and change records.
  
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and automation teams during installation and commissioning.
  

Required Skills

• PLC Programming: Ability to develop and modify PLC control programs.
  
• Ladder Logic: Strong understanding of industrial control logic and sequencing.
  
• HMI/SCADA: Ability to work with operator interfaces and monitoring systems.
  
• Industrial Automation: Understanding of automated machinery and control systems.
  
• Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose control-system, I/O, and communication issues.
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with industrial communication protocols.
  
• Knowledge of VFDs, sensors, actuators, and instrumentation.
  
• Exposure to machine commissioning and electrical control panels.
  

Work Experience Requirements
