PLM Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced PLM Consultant to support the implementation, customization, integration, and maintenance of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions. The candidate will work closely with business and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable PLM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand business and engineering requirements related to PLM processes.


• Configure, customize, and implement PLM applications based on business needs.


• Work on Product Data Management, BOM, Change Management, Document Management, and Engineering Change processes.


• Develop and maintain PLM workflows, business rules, forms, and integrations.


• Support PLM system upgrades, enhancements, and issue resolution.


• Collaborate with functional teams, developers, architects, and end users.


• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.


• Prepare technical and functional documentation.


• Support data migration, system integration, and deployment activities.


• Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, development, testing, and production support.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience in PLM systems and Product Lifecycle Management processes.


• Hands-on experience with any major PLM platform such as:

• Good understanding of BOM, Change Management, Configuration Management, and Document Management.


• Experience with PLM customization/configuration and workflows.


• Good knowledge of databases and integration concepts.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with PLM-ERP/CRM integrations.


• Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and web services.


• Experience with Java, C++, C#, JavaScript, or Python depending on PLM platform.


• Knowledge of CAD systems and CAD-PLM integration.


• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.


• Experience in PLM implementation or migration projects.

Education

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
