Education:
Bachelor’s degree (HR, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field).
Experience:
1–3 years of experience in HR operations, HR technology, or Workday support.
Required Skills:
Basic understanding of Workday HCM or any HRMS tool (SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, etc.).
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to create structured documentation and training material.
Good analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.
Good to Have
Workday foundational knowledge or certification (HCM or module-specific).
Experience in supporting HR teams on HRIS projects or enhancements.
Exposure to ticketing tools like ServiceNow, Jira, or Freshservice.
Behavioral Competencies
Roles & Responsibilities:
Workday L1 Support
Serve as the first point of contact for all Workday-related queries from employees and HR teams.
Provide L1 support to navigation, access, transactions, and basic system errors.
Log and track tickets, escalate to L2/L3 teams when required, and follow up until closure.
HR Techno-Functional Support
Assist in evaluating, testing, and validating Workday functionalities for small enhancements or configuration updates.
Work closely with HR COEs (Recruitment, Core HR, Talent, Learning, Compensation, etc.) to understand process-related system challenges.
Job Aid & Documentation
Create, update, and maintain job aids, SOPs, quick reference guides, FAQs, and training material for Workday modules.
Simplify technical processes into easy-to-understand, step-by-step documentation for end users.
Query Handling & Navigation Assistance
Support employees and HR teams with navigation guidance for Workday modules (e.g., hiring, onboarding, leaves, transfers, benefits, performance).
Conduct short walkthroughs or training sessions for new updates or recurring issues.
Monitor common queries and propose process improvements.
Project Support
Participate in small HR system enhancement projects, UAT cycles, data validation activities, and rollout communications.
Coordinate with HR Tech and IT teams on issue resolution and change management.
