Job Description - Post Sales Engineer (Network security/ Firewalls )

As a Post -Sales Engineer specializing in Firewalls, you will ensure successful implementation, integration, and maintenance of firewall solutions for customers, protecting their networks and data.

*Key Responsibilities:*

1. Firewall Configuration and Deployment

2. Security Policy Development and Implementation

3. Network Segmentation and Access Control

4. Threat Analysis and Incident Response

5. Compliance and Risk Management (HIPAA, PCI -DSS, GDPR)

6. Customer Training and Education

7. Technical Account Management

Requirements

*Technical Expertise:*

1. Firewall technologies (e.g., Palo alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX, Check Point)

2. Network security protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)

3. Security information and event management (SIEM) systems

4. Intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDPS)

5. Virtual private networks (VPN)

6. Cloud security platforms (e.g., AWS Security Hub)

7. Next -generation firewalls (NGFW)

*Skills:*

1. Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)

2. Excellent problem -solving and troubleshooting skills

3. Effective communication and interpersonal skills

4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively

5. Strong customer service and relationship -building skills

*Industry Certifications:*

1. CompTIA Security+

2. CISSP

3. CISM
