Purpose of Role

The Power Apps Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable business applications using Microsoft Power Platform. The role focuses on building Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps, developing automated workflows using Power Automate, and integrating enterprise systems such as SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL Server, and REST APIs.

The role also involves delivering mobile-first applications, ensuring high performance across devices, and contributing to solution design, automation, and application lifecycle management within enterprise environments. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, and modern Power Platform capabilities is highly valuable.



Duties & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power Apps solutions using Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps

• Build and manage automated workflows using Power Automate

• Develop mobile-responsive applications optimized for iOS and Android devices

• Integrate Power Platform solutions with SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL Server, REST APIs, and external systems

• Design and manage data models using Dataverse for scalable application architecture

• Implement business logic using Power Fx and JavaScript where required

• Develop and maintain role-based security and access controls within Power Platform solutions

• Optimize application performance for large datasets and enterprise-scale usage

• Support Power BI integration for dashboards and reporting solutions

• Develop and support Power Pages solutions for external-facing portals where applicable

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions through collaboration with stakeholders

• Support application lifecycle management (ALM) across Dev, Test, UAT, and Production environments

• Work with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for solution deployment and release management

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development and production environments

• Ensure governance, security, and naming standards are followed across all solutions

• Continuously identify opportunities to improve automation, performance, and development efficiency

• Explore and implement AI capabilities such as Copilot and AI Builder where applicable

Skills & Abilities

• Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)

• Hands-on experience building Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps

• Experience with SharePoint, SQL Server, REST APIs, and custom connectors

• Strong understanding of Dataverse data modelling and relational data concepts

• Experience in workflow automation using Power Automate

• Strong knowledge of responsive and mobile-first application design principles

• Experience integrating Power BI dashboards within applications

• Exposure to Power Pages for portal development (preferred)

• Strong understanding of Power Fx and basic JavaScript within Power Platform

• Familiarity with Azure services such as Azure Functions and Logic Apps (preferred)

• Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and ALM practices

• Experience in performance tuning, governance, and enterprise deployment practices

• Exposure to AI Builder and Copilot in Power Apps (preferred)
