Job Description - Power BI Developer

About the job

RVS iGlobal is looking for a dedicated Power BI developer who would be able to construct power BI reports both internally and externally for clients. The builds should be quite interesting and varied with an expectation that the candidate could be client facing and gather the Power BI requirements both internally and externally, convert them into statements of work and technical documentation then complete the builds. We would expect the candidate to be an experienced self -starter who is able to function independently with support from myself on highly technical cases, backlog prioritisation and client relations.

Qualifications - PL -300, DP -900 or PL -900

Core Skills

Power BI Desktop & Service (Reports, Dashboards, Dataflows, Row -Level Security)
DAX (Calculated columns, measures, advanced analytics)
Power Query (M language)
SQL (T‑SQL / SQL Server)
Performance Optimisation (query folding, incremental refresh)
ETL / Data Pipelines (Power BI Dataflows, ADF - Optional)
Fabric Experience (Optional but desirable)
Power Platform (Power Automate, Dataverse – Optional)
Azure (Synapse, Data Lake, Data Factory – Optional)
Data Modelling (Star schema, snowflake, dimensional modelling – Optional)
Governance & Security (RLS/OLS, workspace management – Optional)
