Power BI Developer

Allucent™ is looking for a talented Power BI Developer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming complex data into meaningful insights through interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI. Your skills will be essential in helping our clients in the biopharmaceutical industry make data-driven decisions that enhance their clinical trials and operations.

As a Power BI Developer, you will work closely with data analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and produce visualizations that meet business needs. You will be responsible for the end-to-end development of power BI reports, ensuring data integrity, performance, and security throughout the data visualization process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, publish, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to the needs of the business.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and transform them into effective data visualizations.
• Ensure high levels of performance and reliability across Power BI reports and datasets.
• Utilize advanced data modeling techniques to enhance report functionality.
• Monitor and optimize dashboard performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide support as necessary.
• Document processes for report development, data sources, and visualization best practices.
• Stay current with Power BI updates and best practices to incorporate new features and methods into your work.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar data visualization role.
• Deep understanding of Power BI, including DAX functions, data modeling, and report design.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
• Experience connecting multiple data sources including APIs, flat files, and databases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively present insights and collaborate with team members.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
