Power Builder Developer

Experience: 5 – 10 Years

We are looking for a skilled Senior PowerBuilder Developer with strong expertise in PowerBuilder application development, modernization, and maintenance. The ideal candidate should have hands -on experience in building scalable applications, optimizing database performance, and delivering reliable enterprise solutions while collaborating effectively with cross -functional teams.

• PowerBuilder (preferably 2019+)

• Power Server experience is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Comfortable working with PowerBuilder (12+ versions), ideally version 2019 or newer.
  
• Familiarity with PowerBuilder Foundation Classes (PFC) is an added advantage.
  
• Strong SQL skills with experience in Stored Procedures and database optimization.
  
• Good understanding of modern UI design principles and application performance tuning.
  
• Experience with GitHub.
  
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for PowerBuilder applications.
  
• Good communication and collaborative approach to teamwork and project execution.

• Develop, improve, and maintain PowerBuilder applications to ensure efficiency and reliability.
  
• Modernize UI designs by following best practices and enhancing user experience.
  
• Optimize application performance by working with SQL Server, Oracle, or Sybase databases.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues efficiently to minimize disruptions.
  
• Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and deliver functional solutions.
  
• Review code, test new features, and support smooth deployments.
  
• Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and aligned with business requirements.
  
• Document technical details and provide user support when required.
