Power Curve Collections(PCC) - Test Lead

Job Profile :  Collections Test Analyst

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Analysis of business requirements and static testing.


• Prepare detailed test plan, test scripts and test cases by understanding the business logic and user requirements.


• Working in Agile mode.


• Estimations on testing requirements.


• Create and maintain test case to requirement traceability.


• Identify and create test data.


• Raise defects, participate in defect triage meetings and retest defects that are ready for retest.


• Create automated test cases in Playwright and maintain the regression test suite.


• Work closely with other teams to conduct System Integration Testing.


• Raise risks and issues.


• Ensure all testing activities adhere to our testing standards.

Skills and Experience:

• 8 -12 years' hands-on Software Testing experience.


• Bachelor of Computer Science/Software Engineering or other IT degree.


• ISTQB Certification highly regarded.


• Understanding of JSON, XML, XSD, WSDL, SQL.


• Prior experience with Experian Power Curve Collections or other Collections applications and process.


• Previous experience in System Testing/System Integration Testing.


• Performance and Volume testing hands-on knowledge would be an added advantage. Expertise in any of the following technologies: Playwright, Selenium, or other Test Automation Tools and PnV tools like JMeter.


• Database/ETL testing would be an added advantage.


• A strong understanding of downstream and upstream data preparation and testing requirements.


• Good understanding of the z/OS mainframe platform, Vision PLUS, and Experian Power Curve Collections.


• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills with previous experience working with and coordinating across technical and business teams who have competing timelines and priorities.


• Good understanding and previous experience of using test management tools JIRA/Xray and Confluence.
