Pre-Primary Coordinator- Gunjur/Sarjapura

Position: Pre-Primary Coordinator

Experience: 3+ Years in Early Childhood Education / School Coordination

We are looking for an experienced Pre-Primary Coordinator to lead and oversee the academic and operational functioning of the Pre-Primary section. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of early childhood education, CBSE/NEP-aligned practices, curriculum planning, classroom management, and teacher mentoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor the implementation of the Pre-Primary curriculum in alignment with the school's academic framework and CBSE expectations.


• Develop age-appropriate, play-based, experiential, and activity-based learning plans for Nursery, LKG, and UKG. Extend support for Classes 1 & 2. 


• Guide teachers in lesson planning, classroom activities, learning outcomes, and assessment practices.


• Review and improve teaching-learning resources, worksheets, activities, classroom displays, and learning materials.


• Conduct regular team meetings to review academic plans, student progress, classroom practices, and upcoming activities.


• Support new teachers during their induction and transition into the school environment.


• Monitor the overall academic, developmental, social, and emotional progress of students.


• Ensure adherence to school policies relating to child safety, safeguarding, hygiene, health, and student well-being.


• Coordinate parent orientations, meetings, workshops, and other engagement activities.


• Prepare and monitor academic calendars, activity schedules, events, celebrations, and special programmes.


• Support school leadership in implementing policies, processes, and new initiatives.


• Plan and coordinate celebrations, theme-based activities, assemblies, field trips, exhibitions, annual events, and other Pre-Primary programmes.


• Coordinate logistics, communication, resources, and staff responsibilities for Pre-Primary events.

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Psychology, Child Development, or a related field.


• NTT, Montessori, ECCE, D.El.Ed., B.Ed., or equivalent qualification (Must).

• Knowledge of NEP 2020, Foundational Stage pedagogy, and play-based learning.


• Training in school leadership, curriculum development, or teacher mentoring will be an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant prior experience as a Pre-Primary Coordinator, Academic Coordinator or Senior Pre-Primary Teacher.


• Demonstrated experience in managing and mentoring a team of teachers is preferred.
