Job Description - Presales Manager IT Infrastructure Solutions

Job Title: Presales Manager – IT Infrastructure Solutions 

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Presales Manager with strong technical expertise in Server, Storage, Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI), Backup, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Mobile Device Management (MDM), and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
The ideal candidate should have hands -on experience with OEMs such as Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Broadcom, Nutanix, Commvault, Veeam, and Omnissa (formerly VMware EUC), and should be capable of designing, positioning, and presenting complex IT infrastructure solutions to enterprise customers.



Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Presales & Solution Design

    1. Understand customer requirements and translate them into solution architectures using multi -vendor technologies.

    2. Design, size, and propose infrastructure solutions around Servers, Storage, HCI, VDI, Backup, DR, and MDM.

    3. Conduct POCs (Proof of Concepts), product demos, and solution workshops for clients.

    4. Prepare technical proposals, BOMs, RFP responses, and solution presentations in collaboration with sales teams.

  2. Vendor & Partner Coordination

    1. Work closely with OEMs and distributors such as Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Nutanix, Broadcom, Commvault, Veeam, and Omnissa for technical validations, pricing, and solution optimization.

    2. Keep up -to -date with latest product releases, certifications, and partner programs.

  3. Customer Engagement

    1. Engage with enterprise customers to understand business challenges and map suitable technology solutions.

    2. Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and product deep -dives to CXO -level stakeholders.

    3. Support customer meetings along with the sales team to drive technical closure.

  4.  Internal Collaboration

    1. Collaborate with delivery and implementation teams for handover of won deals, ensuring technical accuracy and scope alignment.

    2. Train and mentor junior presales or sales teams on new solutions and architectures.

  5. Strategic Contribution

    1. Identify opportunities for solution bundling and cross -selling across product lines.

    2. Provide technical inputs for go -to -market strategies and marketing collateral.

    3. Support the organization in achieving partner certifications and vendor accreditations

Required Technical Expertise:

  1. Compute & Storage:

    1. Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant, Lenovo ThinkSystem servers

    2. SAN/NAS storage from Dell, HPE, Lenovo

    3. RAID, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, NVMe technologies

  2. HCI & Virtualization:

    1. Nutanix AHV, VMWare vSAN, HPE Simplivity, Dell VxRail

    2. Virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper -V, Nutanix AHV)

  3. Backup & DR:

    1. Commvault, Veeam, Dell Data Protection Suite 

    2. DR planning, replication, cloud backup, and recovery solutions

  4. VDI & MDM:

    1. Omnissa Horizon (formerly VMware Horizon), Citrix, or Accops 

    2. MDM solutions such as Omnissa Workspace ONE, Intune, or MobileIron

    2. 4+ years of experience in Presales / Solution Architect / Technical Consultant role in IT infrastructure domain.

    3. Strong communication, presentation, and proposal -writing skills.

    4. Ability to manage multiple RFPs, tight deadlines, and cross -functional coordination.
