Preschool Centre Head

Key Responsibilities:

1. Academic & Program Leadership

• Ensure effective implementation of the Ubika curriculum, pedagogy, and nature-based philosophy.
• Guide teachers to plan, observe, and assess children’s development.
• Maintain the rhythm of the centre through thoughtful event planning and daily routines.

2. Operations & Administration

• Manage daily operations including admissions, attendance, safety, and resource planning.
• Oversee inventory, material management, and ensure maintenance of learning spaces.
• Coordinate with the central team on reporting, compliance, and logistics.

3. Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and support the teaching and non-teaching staff.
• Conduct regular team meetings, trainings, and classroom observations.
• Maintain a positive and motivated team culture.

4. Parent Engagement

• Build and maintain transparent and trusting relationships with parents.
• Organize orientation, PTMs, community events, and celebrations.
• Handle queries, feedback, and concerns with empathy and clarity.

5. Centre Growth & Outreach

• Actively participate in marketing and admission initiatives.
• Promote the Ubika philosophy in the community through workshops and events.
• Ensure smooth onboarding of new children and families.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a leadership or teaching role in a preschool.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead with empathy, structure, and vision.
• Alignment with Ubika’s values of sustainability, mindfulness, and joyful learning.
