Pricing Analyst

Job Summary:

The Pricing Analyst is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate product pricing and item information within the ERP system. The role involves analyzing vendor price lists, competitor pricing, and product data to ensure accuracy and profitability. Experience in P21 is an added advantage. 

Key Responsibilities:

• New Product Creation: Create and maintain new product listings in the ERP system with accurate details.
  


• Data Management: Update or upload product information in the ERP system based on vendor price lists.
  


• Comparing Pricelist: Comparing the new price list with the old one and obtaining confirmation from vendors before uploading the price changes into the ERP system.
  


• Product Deactivation: Deactivate discontinued products in the ERP to maintain clean and current data.
  


• Stock and Inventory Monitoring: Updating stock and inventory details in the system based on vendor stock information.
  


• Product Web Creation: Gather and forward product data (from vendor websites or data sheets) to the content creation team for website display.
  


• Pricing and Competitor Analysis:
  




• Compare P21 system prices with vendor price lists and website prices.
  


• Analyses competitor pricing to ensure competitive positioning.
  




• Item Creation Validation: Verify that all newly created products have accurate Brand Name, Product Type, and MPN (Manufacturer Part Number).
  


• Product Accuracy Review: Analyses newly added website products to ensure information accuracy and flag any mismatched details.
  


• Vendor Reporting:
  




• Create and send Monthly Sales Reports to vendors.
  


• Create and send Monthly Inventory Reports to vendors.
  




• Vendor Communication: Manage vendor emails related to price lists, updates, and inquiries for the latest pricing information.
  

  Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in pricing, data analysis, or product management.
  


• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
  


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data reporting.
  


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  


• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  


• Knowledge of P21 ERP systems is preferred.
