The opportunity:

You will be a part of the AIS, PASS Engineering team. You will be supporting the project engineers / Project Lead engineers to develop project specific engineering documents and drawings for submission to customer and the documents required for manufacturing of PASS Switch gears (PASS),You will be an individual contributor who would deliver the tasks as per the given inputs and when required need to work in coordination with other col leagues and should exhibit good collaborative skills to complete the task. You may also interact with other departments like Secondary engineering, Steel engineering, Project Management and Production units.

How you’ll make an impact:

1. Should be able understand the mechanical engineering drawings and the relevant drawings standards to perform independently on the CAD files using CREO and AUTOCAD.

2. Knowledge in Castings, Machining, Sheet metal and Structural Engineering to perform mechanical CAD models.

3. Should have basic knowledge in project life cycle management tools, design tools and design libraries.

4. Should be able co-ordinate with the cross functional teams, Local Product group teams for the inputs requirement, query clarifications and should be meet the project requirements on time.

5. Should adhere to industrial quality standards and functions followed in the engineering team for the quality deliverable.

6. Knowledge in basic of electrical engineering and relevant standards will be an added advantage.

7. Willing to work in shifts for EU time zones and should have good communication skills to influence internally and externally.

Documentation

Directly responsible for maintaining and updating the documentation for respective projects as per quality process.

* Years of experience: 4 – 6 years with Bachelors /Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

* Hands of experience in tools like CREO, AutoCAD or similar tools in 2D/3D drawings.

* Experience with United States/North American design standards / IEEE is a positive factor

* Expect Excellent Communication and interpersonal skill
